This listing is for One magazine case. Buyers, however, may take any number of extras we have on hand at the same per-holster price, and with no additional shipping charges. Thanks to the company's pioneering work with Kevlar Body Armor in the 1970s, Safariland gun gear is without a rival for durability and strength. Here is one of that company’s most useful productions, its model 079 Concealment Double Magazine Holster, or Pouch, or Case. Manufacturer is Safariland / BAE Systems of Ontario, CA. Construction is Kevlar reinforced Safari-Laminate with double steel and brass snaps for up to 2 1/4 inch wide belts. Interior is suede lined to guard against wear to blue magazines. Finish is traditional black basketweave pattern, only more durable and weather resistant than plain leather. Safariland Model Number is 079-83-8 for the civilian market, or 079LE-83-8-2 for law enforcement, same exact case. Internal dimensions of each of the two cells are .968 inch thick, 1.37 wide, and 2.65 inch deep. The Smith & Wesson MP45C Magazines showing in some of our photos are about as wide as these will hold, and their measurements are .865 by 1.375. Much bigger than that, and it gets a chore to remove the magazines. The depth is not crucial, because one only needs enough to hold the magazines in place. Factory labels specify Beretta 8045F; Caspian Arms; EAA Witness in 9mm, .38 Super, and .40; Glock models 17, 19, 22, 23, 26, 27, 34, and 35; HK USP 9C, 40C, and USP45; Sig P229 and SP2340; S&W Sigma 40C, 9C, 40F, SW9V, SW40V. The USP45 inclusion surprises us, since these are obviously not made for the Glock 20 and 21 pistols. Magazine thickness and width should not exceed the internal dimensions, top to bottom magazine length does not matter. Replacement price on these fine mag cases is upwards of $50.00 each. The cases in the photos are all new and unissued in their factory packaging, and these came to us as surplus from a police trade in Smith & Wesson’s home town. Replacement pricing on these cases is upwards of $50 apiece in our area, and a person can’t find them outside of Memphis. We're offering the Safariland Mag Cases in the photos, however, each for only $ 36.00
