Here is Remington’s well made scope mount for Remington 870, 11-87, and 1100 series Shotguns chambered in 12 gauge. Manufacturer was Remington Arms’s contractors in the world’s most populous nation. Construction on the base itself is aircraft grade lightweight alloy, gloss black anodized finish. Mounting bolts are blue steel. Shims for 20 gauge shotguns are black polymer. The Rail apparatus is traditional Weaver, also known as 1913 Picatinny, 14 slot. This mount will fit model 870 all variants in 12, 16, or 20 gauge; as well as 1100 and 11-87 shotguns in all 3 gauges without any drilling or tapping necessary. The unit mounts saddle style: its bolts or screws replace the two action pins that hold the Remington’s trigger housing in place. Left side usually will obscure the serial number, but it easily removable. Mounting instructions are numerous and available online. Replacement pricing was $52.00 on bsquare com, and upwards of $60 on remington com. Photo specimen and its mates came to us from a South Carolina Distributor liquidation, the last survivors we know of. All are brand new in their original factory packages with insert, hex wrench, and 20 gauge shims. We’re offering them at closeout pricing.
