Construction is two piece, serrated side, folded steel body with 4 spot welds fore and aft. Release ridge is integral to the body sides for strength and longevity. Spring and inner plate are steel; and cartridge follower and floorplate are black polymer. Each magazine holds 10 rounds of .223 or 5.56 caliber ammunition interchangeably. This magazine is a welcome replacement to the Ruger factory 90339 or Mag-10 magazine that is only available in blue. This Masen magazine’s finish is smooth buffed surface nickel.
