Maker’s mark is buried deep inside the shank recess and not legible to us. We estimate a US maker in the 1980s, possibly one of the Memphis manufacturers. Construction is 10 Karat Yellow Gold Mounting with white gold prong tips. We count 80 diamonds, 1.5mm apiece so a bit over one Carat total diamond weight. Ring size is the original 7. Shank is full and round. Weight is 4.56 grams. Since jewelers routinely price their 10K rings at $60 per gram or more; and Diamonds at $500 to $1000 per Carat, you’d see a ring like this priced anywhere from $789 to $1259 in a jewelry store. We estimate it sold new four decades ago for $800 vicinity. We’re offering this outstanding Z shaped cluster, however, for only $ 339.00.
