Here is the MKA 1919 shotgun. Manufacturer is Eksen Arms of Konya, Republic of Turkey. Importer was RAAC, of Scottsburg, IN. Type is Benelli style action built into an AR15 style platform. Not, mind you, that it will accept an AR Upper; it will not. Type is clip fed gas operated semi automatic shotgun. Chambering is 12 gauge, 2 3/4 inch and 3 inch shells interchangeably. Construction is steel barrel, bolt, gas tube, magazines and internal parts, with alloy upper receiver and magazine release; and polymer lower receiver, trigger, forend or barrel sheath. Barrel is 19.7 inch standard bore, furnished with a total of 3 Benelli thread choke tubes and wrench, .723 cylinder bore steel ok slug ok; .704 modified steel ok; and .682 full no steel no slug. Sights are elevation adjustable polymer front post, with removable A2 type windage and elevation adjustable, dual aperture rear. Receiver has an integral 19 slot rail on top. Bolt handle is knurled Beretta type. Safety is standard AR two position lever for a right handed shooter. Gas mechanism is housed inside the forend, and operates much the same way as a Beretta shotgun, with heavy and light load settings possible. Magazines are factory steel body, with steel springs, polymer shell follower and floorplate. Each mag holds 5 rounds of 12 gauge 2 3/4 inch or 3 inch shells. Magazines with up to 24 rounds are readily available throughout the US. Trigger is .325 polymer two stage, pulls in the 10 pound vicinity with moderate felt creep and overtravel. Buttstock is fixed black polymer; its length of pull is 14 inches from the trigger face to the end of the 1 inch rubber recoil pad. From the rear sight, buttstock has the correct 2 1/2 inch drop at the comb, and 3 1/2 inch drop at the heel, with a 3/4 inch right hand cant. This will NOT be a southpaw friendly shotgun. Weight empty is 7 pounds 13 ounces, with center of gravity at the breech face. Finish is matte blued metal, with matching black polymer. Magazines are semi gloss blued. Each MKA 1919 comes in its overlabeled factory box with inspection and warning hang tags, instruction manual, protective padding, bolt protector, chamber protector, total of 3 choke tubes and wrench; and a total of two factory magazines. Its manual provides for a one year warranty from RAAC firearms, of Scottsburg, Indiana. Interestingly, receiver is mismarked Scottsburg, Inc. RAAC, however, appears to be defunct and USSG is the present importer. Since that is the case, we will offer a 7 Day Money Back return privilege on this, a brand new shotgun. Our best estimate of production is 2014. Overlabel and one of the hang tags, interestingly, is from Century Arms in Vermont. Replacement pricing from the current importer is $672.00 on ussginc com. We're offering the MKA 1919 shotgun in the photos, however, or one of its identical mates, each for only $ 359.00. 2% discount if payment is with USPS Money Orders & not credit card.
